I'll think of more, but for now:

  • Haydn McGeary is for real and posts great numbers in Tenn after a mid-season promotion

A few that have been rattling around my brain

- One of Luke Little or Daniel Palencia breaks free from the "probably a reliever" shackles and ends the season as our top pitching prospect

- Reggie Preciado earns his way back into the org's top 10

- Kevin Made ends the year on multiple top 100's

- Drew Gray doesn't throw a ton of innings, but he has absurd numbers when he finally debuts (think like DJ Herz's 40% K rate in 2021)

- Ben Brown passes Horton/Wicks as top SP in the system by July.

- Mason McGwire has a better year than Jackson Ferris

- Caissie mashes at AA, but still spends the vast majority of the year there.

- Ballesteros is a top 10 prospect by the end of the year.

I could see all of this happen, though I'm hoping it's because Wicks is working to exhaust his rookie eligibility by that time.

I'm hoping that's the really fun type of argument about three awesome pitchers (I'd add Palencia into the conversation, hopefully)

Yeah, I can't wait to see if Wicks added some velo or if the new slider actually does take off with him.  I stay optimistic, but I'm probably the low guy on these boards when it comes to Wicks.
