Tulane is playing USC in the Cotton Bowl. Holy freaking smokes!

Anyone seen the Trojans play this season? I have to think it’s a bad matchup with their skill positions talent, but the Wave pass rush has been pretty stout so far.

USC does not have much of a defense, ND's very average QB had a great game against them and obviously Utah tore them to pieces just two days ago. Michael Pratt should feast.

Obviously Caleb - if healthy - and their skill guys are extremely imposing. But between their defense and the obvious motivational difference I definitely give the Wave a chance.

Thanks :hello: . Pratt likely will be a mid round draft pick, but the RB Spears might be a 1st rounder. Sounds like a very high o/u.

I've watched 2 nearly full USC games this year, against UCLA and against Utah on Friday. In both games they were horrifically bad defensively. Like really bad. So bad that I have to imagine I picked 2 bad games to watch because there's no way a team goes 11-2 with a defense that bad even if their offense is conversely really good. Tons of missed tackles all over the place...all of their players seem to be only focused on ripping the ball away from the ball carrier which leads to several extra yards on every play. I wanted to gouge my eyes out but somehow still kept watching because I really wanted OSU to miss the CFP.

Of course the flip side is their offense is spectacular. Caleb Williams was probably the Heisman winner before the game on Friday. He still might be because he was really beat up in that game, limping all over the place. He's a dual threat guy but couldn't run much after getting hurt. When he's healthy they are very dangerous...they might have won on Friday if Williams was 100%

Rumors out of Indy say the Colts are after Harbaugh. If he wins the NC, he stands to make a lot of money either at Michigan or the NFL.

He doesn’t have to win the NC to make a lot of money. Look at the contract Mel Tucker got for doing a lot less. The number of coaches that have cashed in since show Harbaugh can probably name his price the day after getting trounced by TCU.

Kind of want to make CU my adopted college team (I never have had a fave NCAA program). He may flame out, but I think it's gonna be entertaining to follow no matter what. And if I'm lucky BigTen will want that Denver market and I'll even get good media coverage in a few years.

This has nothing to do with anything about Sanders and football for the most part.

When he played for the Braves I was in college. I and a couple of friends got bleacher tickets for the game. Needless to say, we were giving him a hard time for most of the game. It was mostly in good fun. He was even jawing back and forth with us. In the 8th inning, one of my friends asked him to throw us a ball after warm-ups between innings. He ran towards the infield with the ball and from just behind 2nd base he threw the ball completely out of Wrigley and then said, go get it. He was/is a remarkable athlete.

I think he's very smart and if he gets good players whatever coaching deficiencies he has can be masked to an extent.

I'm pretty sure Coach Prime is the CEO type. He will have coordinators that call all the plays. Rumor is that Mike Zimmer will be his DC. Apparently Zim served as an advisor to Sanders at JSU.

Yea and he's poaching his OC from a MAC school head coach (Kent State). That's a big pull from any Power 5, but one of Colorados prestige? That's insane. He's gonna recruit awesome coaches and players.
