Still rooting for Phils (because Schwarber), Pads (because Yu and screw the Mets), Mariners (never won a WS), and Guardians (because it would be hilarious for them to end their WS drought the very year they finally dropped the Indians moniker).

I know their options were to let Deluzio or Knizner hit instead of Gorman, then have Gorman hit for Molina… but letting Molina represent the tying run with his speed was pretty funny. Also could’ve had Matz pinch run then Knizner come in to catch, I guess.

I gotta say, I was very down on the wild card going from one game to a series, and a couple close games to start the format may be deceiving me. But the best of 3 over 3 straight days doesn't feel like there's much urgency lost so far.

i don't like going to 6 teams but I love the best of 3 much better than one game. We've had these arguments before, I know most love them but i hated the idea that you could earn a playoff spot and have it all be over because of a bad start or a degrom or someone mowing you down. This gives teams a little more margin for error but still makes the games feel do or die.
