I'm curious to see how long Kevin Made stays in MB. It's not unreasonable for him to still be there, but with his fairly long run last year and so far this year, he's approaching 100 games at the level.

 

I do appreciate him providing an obvious and notable illustration of the importance of age relative to league. Hopefully that will head off some of the histrionics when Cristian Hernandez and Kevin Collier don't light it up at Myrtle Beach next April.

Freylin Silverio - the only Cub pitcher BA mentioned amongst DSL pitchers to watch this season - started and made his pro debut today: 2 IP, 0 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 4 BB, 2 K.

 

It’s only 12 and 14 ABs respectively but Adán Sánchez has a 1.205 OPS and Jefferson Rojas is at 1.206.

Triantos tripled and struck out 4 times, the final one getting him ejected. I have to imagine this location is not accurate. But lol @ arguing the automatic strike

Gotta wonder how much longer Mervis needs to torch AA before he gets a shot at Iowa. He’s doubled his walk rate and lightly trimmed his Ks, plus his IsoP is up while his BABIP is down. Signs of sustainability all around while still putting up a ludicrous .445 wOBA. He’ll hit 100 PA in his next couple games, which is the point that got him bumped from South Bend to Tennessee.
