I'll guess Leiter gets outrighted, Martin recalled from the bereavement list, and Kilian gets the 27th spot for the day

 

 

They fed Leiter to the wolves to ensure no other relievers went today, he's already yo-yo'd twice, and he's got less utility in the current roster(Thompson+Steele look okay as SP, Kilian is ready, Mills almost done rehabbing). Martin has been on the bereavement list since Sunday so he's probably about ready, and the only other 40 man arms that could reasonably be called up are Newcomb(still probably needs another rehab outing or 3) or Menez(a nobody that would be the 3rd lefty) .

I was thinking the same thing. With Mills coming back next week, he's presumably the long man with this rotation:

 

Stroman

Kilian

Steele

Hendricks

Thompson

 

And when Miley comes back in a few weeks one of Thompson/Steele shifts to the pen.
