hernandez will definitely be starting in full-season ball next year assuming that he's healthy, right?

I think it's more likely he's in full-season than extended/rookie ball next year. I have to think part of the reason he was in the DSL this year was the pandemic and the closure of short season.

It could also be the additional services provided in the DR for language & cultural training, etc.

Another possible reason. Cristian signed in January 2021: https://twitter.com/kevin_goldstein/status/1436369080999727112?s=21

What does the 2022 MB roster look like if all of the levels of ball that exist now stay?

C: Ronnier and Malcom Quintero

1B: Felix Stevens, Preciado, Quintero

2B: Triantos, Santana?

SS: Hernandez, Triantos, Santana, Preciado

3B: Preciado, Triantos, Hernandez, Santana

RF: Alcantara, Franklin, Pagan, Stevens, Preciado

CF: Franklin (either he or Chavers will go to SB maybe), Alcantara, Pagan, Preciado

LF: Pagan, Franklin, Alcantara, Stevens, Preciado

Schlaffer

L. Rodriguez

Hodge

Salvador

Devers

Little

Oquendo

Hambley

so on

It'd be nice for one of these recently drafted HS guys to take a rotation spot, pretty confident Oquendo (16th round in 2019) will make the staff at 21 if not the rotation - Moreno, Gray, E. Rodriguez, Avitia (JC?)...None of these guys have pitched in a game yet

Actually, if you don't care about BA too much minor league catchers, Ronnier Quintero's season line - all of 53 PAs - features an above average K rate, BB rate, IsoSLG, and the arm that Matt Dorey singled out has thrown out nearly 1/3, 5 of 17, would be basestealers which would be one of the better marks in the system (Aliendo's been run on 104 times this year!) probably if I looked

Missing Ismael Mena.

I suspect Ronnier Quintero and Ethan Hearn will repeat their respective levels next season. Ed Howard might too but at least he is starting to show life recently.
