Taking this instead back to June 19th to give us a full month, he's at .244/.352/.462, with an 11% walk rate, a 23.1% K rate, and a 123 wRC+.

Given his age this really has to be a corner turned rather than just a hot streak, but if it is and he can get up to South Bend by the end of the season this season could go down as a pretty solid success. I didn't think that was going to be possible a month ago.

Manuel Rodriguez hasn't given up a run at Iowa yet, threw 1.1 with a couple Ks and a BB...He's at a 32% K rate, 17% K-BB, 1 HR, 2.38 GO/AO, ~60% GBs, .177 BA, and 2.41 RA/9 on the season between AA and AAA

Ethan Roberts had another good outing last night...He's at ~36% K rate, ~29% K-BB, 7% BB, 14% PU, . 137 BAA, .445 OPSa, etc etc

Getting to see a couple of these guys in the 2nd half is definitely a silver lining in the inevitable sell-off of the entire big league bullpen.

If that gets rocks off I guess, but I’m looking forward to them contributing to the 2nd half surge...Rodriguez in particular might be close, didn’t realize how many GBs he got

I think bringing up youths to play for a loser org actively trying to lose is a swift way to crush potential

Do you have anything real to base that last sentence off of?
