He saw I had Will Smith and just assumed it must be the highest for that position.

Because no one has him on their team. The "best possible" score, is the best possible score that any one of us participating could have. Perez was not in the groups (based on his previous HR total), and no one had added him as a Bench choice either since the season began either.

It was great to have a full 162-game season of the MLB season and the HR Derby. We had a smaller group this season, but it was still fun. I'm already working on the groups/totals for 2022!
