i don't understand how they're 13-4 with bryant, baez, and rizzo all sucking (rizzo is only kind of sucking but still sucking)

 

Before today, the starters had a 2.55 ERA while averaging 6 IP per start. Third best team has a 3.16 ERA and the 6th best team has a 3.55 ERA. Cubs are 6th overall in ERA.

Happ is legitimately one of the best players in baseball right now. Kipnis, Willy, Bote, Schwarbs are all over 100 wRC+. Rizzo has a 136 wRC+, KB is at 97. Javy is the only one really sucking. But KB needs to be his usual self sooner than later.

 

KB has a BABIP 100 points lower than his career average also. Not too worried right now.
