I think with him, I'd prefer signing him at $18 million for one year rather than the $30 million for two years some were projecting.

 

It could be wrong of me to prefer that, though.

If the oblique was really the reason he sucked and he rushed back like he did in Texas seems like a solid deal. I’d rather do this deal with him than whatever Wheeler ends up getting and even Bumgarner.
