So far 6 D-I schools will be replacing their HC with Odom at Mizzou being the latest not to be retained.

 

Teams currently looking for a new coach:

Appy St.

Boston College

Colorado ST

FAU

Fresno State

Memphis

UNLV

New Mexico

 

 

 

 

 

 

It'll be interesting how many more will happen on Monday.

 

I expect Arizona, Ole Miss, Boston College, Colorado St., South Florida to be joining them.

 

I would be mildly shocked if Texas, both USCs, UCLA, Auburn, and Michigan State all get new HCs.

No way Texas gets rid of Herman this offseason. Auburn certainly isn't crazy about Malzahn, but his buyout would be more than $27M. :shock:

If Harbaugh is throwing John Deeres and bags of money around he's doing it wrong. They currently have 1 top 100 247 composite commit in the 2020 class. Clemson has like 7 of the top 20.

Rumors are in the very early stages, but it's worth nothing that Allen is the lowest paid Power 5 coach in the country. He is in line for a huge raise at IU after the first 8 win season in over 25 years. Florida State is a very attractive job, and Missouri would allow a coach like Allen to stay in the midwest while upgrading to the SEC. But hopefully, Allen being from Indiana and not being super young means he takes a large pay increase and stays in Bloomington.

Erroneous statement. I had the same opinion as you about him until I dug a little deeper into once I felt Ole Miss might actually hire him.

 

Hard to say he wrecked Oakland when their previous 2 seasons before Kiffin they went 4-12 and 2-14 and hadn't had a winning record in 7 years.

 

Tennessee was NOT laid waste when he left there. He got them two top 10 recruiting classes and had a winning record as HC there. Derek Dooley is who came in and wrecked it all, going 6-7, 5-7, and 5-7.

 

USC wrecked itself before he even got there and they received their 2 year bowl ban and loss of 30 scholarships the summer before his first season, yet despite all that he still had a winning record, going 8-5, 10-2, and 3-2. His three recruiting classes while there were ranked 4th, 1st, and 8th nationally.
