Adbert should start being used as a RP down in Iowa with all of Kimbrel, Strop, Kintzler and Morrow being in various degrees of limbo. I know that takes some proactive thinking this team seems to be allergic to, but it would make sense.

Well the one key thing today, which can't happen all the time, is that the Cubs tacked on some runs in a late inning. And it allowed a horsefeathers bullpen to be horsefeathers and still have the Cubs win.

 

That said, I was too nervous to watch the last inning, and based on all of these comments, it seems like we got lucky with the last out or something.

Semien hit one about 350 feet on a ball that by all rights should've carried out given what the wind was doing.

 

Joe called him Semen about five times in the post game.
