Raisin - thanks in advance for your efforts on the minor league games. Even though the minors are not as strong as a few years ago, I still come here first to see how they are doing.

Let me join the parade of pre-emptive "three cheers for Raisin" posts!

What he does takes time, and he does it willingly for us everyday.

Thanks, Navin!

In his 1st AB of the season, Jared Young HRs of off Braves top prospect Ian Anderson (1st round pick, 3rd overall in 2016).

Anderson had giving up 3 HRs in 242.2 IP before facing Young.

Yeah, watching Hatch's game right now, he's never looked better. There was some talk during spring training that he had found something on one of his pitches in the second half of last season and was much improved since then. The announcers mentioned which pitch it was but I can't remember.

The numbers reflect that improvement. In August, Hatch posted his best ERA, best K/9, BB/9 and BAA of any month that year. The walks dropped dramatically.

Lange got roughed up in his first start repeating at Myrtle Beach.

Any reports on his velo? Especially on the fastball?

Someone mentioned this a while back, but we really need to hire those Driveline guys or send some of our prospects there to improve their fastballs.

Some video highlights in this Twitter thread, including Young’s homer, Hatch’s great outing, Amaya’s double, Roederer bloop single, Weber’s double and Giambrone’s homer:

Drew Waterscan play. He and Ian Anderson are two of the best prospects in the minors. The Braves are owned by scum even relatively speaking so they should send those guys to the Cubs.

And a second round pick! I didn’t know teams were allowed to draft real prospects past the 1st round...
