Tomorrow is my first experience with the "alma mater vs. childhood team" game. I know some others here have had that happen before.

Not like I had much trouble deciding who I'd support, but the fact that Ball State already ruined one Notre Dame sports season in the last year certainly cemented any doubt.

The fact that Youngstown State is playing WVU this weekend reminded me of this cool story from SI's Andy Staples about non-scholarship Butler stunning YSU last weekend.

And that’s why Butler beating Youngstown State might be a bigger upset—from a degree of difficulty standpoint—than Appalachian State beating Michigan in 2007. Appalachian State—which has since moved to the FBS—had 63 scholarships at the time to Michigan’s 85. Saturday, Youngstown State had a 63–0 edge in scholarships.

My heart is thinking upset over Clemson but my brain is just LOL'ing at that notion.

How has Mond looked so far? I know they played NW St.

Much improved from last year. Again, it was a cupcake opponent but he impressed me with his command at the LOS. He was reading the D and audibling, something that never would’ve happened with Sumlin. He spun the ball well too. The OL had several missed assignments which concerns me, especially considering how ridiculously good Clemson’s DL is.

Clemson is ridiculously talented. Wow. And we have one kid on D that couldn’t tackle a dummy but yet he’s been on the field all half. He’s a key reason why Clemson has scored 2 TD’s. Lucky to only be down 14-3 at the half.

I have this every time Penn State plays Northwestern, but I always root against my alma mater (lol)

Taggart is off to a rough start at FSU. Not only bad, but sloppy with some questionable coaching decisions already.

As a non partial observer, that pylon cam appeared to show the football going directly over the pylon. And though I don't know the rule exactly, if it's a touchdown when the ball hits the pylon, then I would say that's a touch back since it appeared to go over the pylon.

That is the rule. I think it was a touchback. The rule is stupid though.

For the 1st time in 31 years, UK has beaten the Gators.

Georgia might as well buy their tickets to the SEC title game.

It's also stupid to dive for the end zone with the ball out like that (unless there isn't another play after like end of half or it's 4th and goal). I agree the rule is dumb, but it's the rule and players shouldn't take the risk of something like this happening.
