Kyle did a really good job ignoring everything Jim Hickey told him, at least after the first inning. I'm assuming Lester is way too self-confident to have ever listened to a pitching coach anyway, so if he can keep ignoring Hickey, we might have a chance.

Go Cubs.

What's a better role for Almora against tough right-handers than setting the table for our good hitters? Driving them in.

Javy drives himself and others in. Almora is just a 2nd leadoff man...wait, why is Joe batting Almora 2nd leadoff vs RHP!!??

I am currently sitting in a hotel where I can literally see the park from my room. It's pouring but it's supposed to be done here by 630ish

Rain has completely stopped.. Shouldn't have any problems starting on time

You just broke what's-his-name's heart

you mean rain man?

Maybe rain man fan should be next.

Great inning, Cobs.

On one hand it’s comforting to know Joe knows Almora sucks vs RHP, but on the other hand sac bunting with your 5 hitter in the 2nd inning is so horsefeathering dumb. Just stop playing him vs RHP
