Gimenez was the “Twins good guy of the year”’award winner last year.

 

In 2016 we cost him a ring since he played with the Indians that year.

 

So either he is working against us or just sucks.

How do we get the rotation to not suck? I don’t feel overly confident with any of our starters.

I really hate those kinds of innings. It was set up for some success and the inability of a position player to get a bunt down killed it all.

When Gimenez is in the lineup we essentially have 7 offensive players, so this is gonna happen a lot. Dongs are the only way to ensure runs.

 

But even a crappy backup catcher should be able to lay down a bunt. It would have been a fine contribution. It's quite unacceptable.

Montgomery's been perfectly good today. This start has basically been the inverse of Lester's start against the Dodgers where all those 105 mph line drives were hit right at our defenders.
