Other tweets have Assad throwing fastball (90-92, one saying mid-90's), a hard slider (88,90) and a curve (77).
A hard 88-90 slider with control could be pretty effective. Nice to see him get off to a good start.

 

Hatch's 6K in 4 innings seems appealing, although 2 walks and a HBP don't at all. Will be interesting to see if his control gets better this year; his stuff last year seemed good, maybe better than I expected; but his control/command was worse.
