i actually forgot that was only a 1 year thing but yeah

i've noticed that people keep pointing to starting mitch against minnesota because the steelers are too tough, the packers at lambeau on a short week are too tough, and he gets the luxury of a sort of pseudo-bye week by having an extra few days before the vikings game. i totally understand that last point, and the first one, whatever (it's a home game and he's gonna have to face some good teams, but if you want to avoid that for his first start, fine, i guess, but isn't the vikings defense considered to be on par with pittsburgh too?)

 

all that said, doesn't the packers' defense kinda suck?

 

like it'll probably be the worst one they face until....the saints?

I shouldn't have given the collective meatball population so much credit, but it was too funny seeing the same fans bitch about exposing Gentry to waivers two weeks after he had passed through waivers unclaimed and ended up on the practice squad.

Looks like Long is going to play, so if Sitton plays, they'll have the big three on the interior together for the first time in a year, which is good. Hopefully this means a clean pocket and better rushing lanes.
