God it would be awesome if he went back to his 370 wOBA self (or better). The offense really needs an injection. Last year we had 4.5 (half season of Willy) guys well above average and this year we've had 2.5 (half for Happ). I'm actually encouraged by his batted ball direction; it shows a more disciplined approach.

Boise takes the lead in the top of the 20th.

What a weird game. Both teams scored 1 in the 11th. Backup catcher Tyler Payne threw 4 scoreless and then Boise scored 4 in the top of the 20th against a real pitcher. Eugene countered with 2 and even brought the tying run to the plate in the bottom of the 20th. Boise scored more runs in the 20th than they did in the first 19 innings. And then they had their fireworks at 2:30 am.

For the MLB equivalent look up Mets at Braves 7/4/85.

Nobody knows anything about de la Cruz. He was warming up for his last start(probably May 30ish or so) and they pulled him. No info at all. Its frustrating we can't find anything out on injuries. Alec Mills came back from his foot/ankle injury, pitched a couple innings, and has been missing a month or so. We had no idea why DJ Wilson went on the DL. Same with Sepulveda. Wish we could find these things out.

DJ Wilson is featured in this months Vineline. He developed a stress fracture in his leg (They mentioned him running home from second AFTER he suffered the fracture).

I saw him a few times earlier this year in South Bend. He is a fluid athlete. I hope he comes back strong.

As an aside, I have been watching the single A teams for a few years (I live between South Bend and Kane County, and usually go to a 7-10 games a year at either place--wherever the low A Cubs are playing). I am a not a scout and I question my evaluating abilities, but if you want to know about anyone, let me know.

(Here is a sleeper pick for TomtheBomb); Tyler Alamo can play catcher. He is a big dude--looks like Lance Parish behind the plate, but he is quick enough and has a good arm. And nobody will sass him or charge the mound while he is catching. He could make Lackey back down with his demeanor. I hope he hits

Thanks for the Wilson update and welcome to the board!
