Today, Brett Anderson pays tribute by striking out 20 Yankees.

Ok, probably not but it'd be nice to get 6 strong innings. Also, one cannot help but wonder if Thursday's extra inning game deprived us of a Montgomery vs. Montgomery matchup today. Oh well.

Go Cubs!

I was going to be all, "oh horsefeathers, it's Anderson," but then I realized pretty much every game these days has me going, "oh horsefeathers, it's *TODAY'S STARTER*," and that made me sad.

Arrieta and Lackey's peripherals look pretty damn good. Those HR rates are insane. Wtf.

HOORAY FOR STARLIN!

But seriously, why was I looking forward to this game? I immediately felt shitty about it as soon as I saw Anderson even before he threw the first pitch.
