Did they really give 1,908 of THOSE rings out? There had to have been a lesser version given out to the majority of those 1,908 people right? Otherwise you are looking at roughly $135 million spent on rings.

Actually Crane Kenney specifically said that a bunch of those were actually pins. 1908 was the total number "pieces of jewelry" that they ordered from Jostens.

Has anybody seen replicas of the world series banner anywhere?

Yep - got one at the game on Wednesday night. The banner measures 60" x 26" and is made of very light material. There are grommets on the left side of the banner, so the banner can be hung on a flag pole. The Mastercard logo is on the upper right of the banner and is a few inches wide.

Hopefully I can get the replica World Series trophy at the game tomorrow!

Got the ridiculously huge paperweight version of the ring as a gift for my new job the other day. It's pretty nuts.

Is it pretty sweet? Looking at getting this. Also did it really take 6-8 weeks to receive?

It was given to me, so I don't know the delivery time, and it was picked up, I believe, at the Cubs' store back at Wrigley.

The quality is surprisingly good. It's really heavy and the detail is pretty impressive.

Got a photo of it? The Jostens site did a bang up job of using stock images so there's no size scale of it on the site.

Mine's at work, but I'll get a pic of the one my dad has when I see him tomorrow.

My friend who runs @Cubs let me put on his ring

Huh, I presumed it was multiple people running that account.

it'd be pretty amazing if they needed multiple people to run social media accounts.

what a boondoggle for social media marketing degrees

Its best not to have multiple people running one organization's social media account.

Then you end up with a Anthony Weiner-type situation
