getting random ads that redirect me when i'm reading the board on my iphone. this happens when using both safari and chrome. this is the only website where the ads appear.

Yep, this happens to me on Android as well.

 

IIRC, a couple of times they've been those YOUR PHONE IS INFECTED!!! scam type ads

Bad Google Ads!

 

Please keep me informed if this is a big problem or becomes one. I will place a complaint with google that those ads are getting served on my mobile pages.

Any way you can remove the links on the bottom of the page? I've accidentally clicked on them and they lead to Russian spam pages.

Which links?

The ones that say game forum, news, stock quotes. They may be part of the theme I have on, I should try switching.

Yep, it was the theme. Gone now that I switched it.

I've never intentionally clicked it, only accidentally when trying to click active topics on my phone.

FYI Tim, getting some server errors this morning. Refreshing is fixing it, but seems like something is up. Occasionally getting an "Internal Server Error" and sometimes getting...

I know you have little control over what ads are served, but man it's annoying to be getting ads for conservative tv (CRTV) and for some Phil Robertson garbage and for it to not have the X for me to tell google I don't like the ad.

Seems like they've also been based on conversations that we've had here before too. I suppose I could try clearing my cache.

Sort of related - over the last few weeks, NSBB has started freezing when I leave the browser (chrome) open on my desktop or phone. I have to force quit the browser. Happens about twice a week

Clearing my cache seems to have done the trick. Though I am getting the dating site ads now...but that's more tolerable.
