That's how sports execs contract talks work. They aren't trying to lock up a pitcher through his arb years.

Right...and Theo's job involves a lot of negotiating contracts from the other side of the table. Theo is probably enjoying being on this side of it for a while.

I couldn't possibly be less worried about it.

I am wary of this guy's anti-dong/anti-Castro/pro-FO conflict agenda.

That user name kinda screams something an undercover Cardinals fan would come up with.

Oh, no. Who was that guy last year that was the undercover Cards fan?

Please, please don't give me that label. Also, I feel I continue to be taken out of context about dongs and Castro. You son of a bitch.

The continual David support is worrisome, too. We all know he was ultimately programmed to be our destruction.

sometimes i think you notice things that aren't things

i'm pretty sure i berated the hell out of this guy with his old name all summer last year because he wanted to sell in july. that's about the extent of my interaction with him other than him also not loving castro last night.

This is all just funnin' around. For goofs and whatnot. Relax and have a RAM chip.

I KNOW BUT I JUST WANT YOUR JOKES TO MAKE SENSE DAMNIT

I just feel bad that I'm only known by two of my favorite posters as "that guy."

But David is right, he did have to yell at me a lot last season because I constantly was worried about everything. So, really, this Theo worry by me should be expected.

It was literally just because you liked that post and I knew it would kinda drive you a little insane.

i liked it because it was hilarious (and not the way he intended)

Also, I just want to point out the times I was right. Such as when I told everybody Carlos Gomez sucks and that Albert Pujols wasn't looking like the same Pujols right before he was about to become a free agent and that Arrietta could be a starter for the Cubs and that the rebuild was worth it.

Bitches.

Wait. How do you know it wasn't the way I intended?

iirc there's some hangup about finding out how much friedman really makes because there is some sort of ambiguity about it and then figuring out how to make theo the highest paid exec.

Get Chris Correa on the phone.

Does for me on Chrome.

I'm guessing you're hovering over the heart and not the number since you're Derwood and you don't read things.

are you hovering over a zero

I'm not THAT Derwoody

Alright got it. Just takes a second of not moving the cursor for it to pop. Intuitively, though, you WOULD hover over the heart and not the number, but whatevs

Whoa, you guys didn't know you could hover over the number? That would drive me nuts not knowing who was liking stuff.

I mean, I silently curse Mojo daily for requesting the likes because now I'm mildly obsessed with more fake internet points, as if Reddit wasn't bad enough.
