I used to enjoy listening to B&B every once in a while when I was doing paperwork or whatever, but I can't listen to Dan anymore. His pseudo-intellectual hot takes are too predictable at this point. He really thinks a lot of himself for a guy who literally just gabs about sports for his life's work. Well, that and shilling reverse mortgages and crappy wine.

Dan is ok when he's paired with Laurence Holmes, or someone else willing to debate him that he can't just scream at. Boers is just there to make funny noises and grab a paycheck, and lets Dan just have his way.

I disagree completely. Other than the ones who are basically B&B characters at this point, like Mike in Milwaukee. B&B just engage them and berate them. The other ones (M&H, LoHo) just kinda humor them and politely mock. And Grobstein is one of them, so he embraces them.

 

EDIT - Forgot about Spiegel and Goff...it's weird, I barely even notice when they take callers.

Meh, I still like Spiegel and Goff. Mully and Hanley are like the Scully and Hitchcock of the Score...and B&B's problems have been more than covered. Spiegel and Goff are a good middle ground...I don't always agree with their thoughts, but I find them entertaining enough. They're the only show I listen to on that channel anymore.

Maybe I don't listen to enough of Goff and Spiegel, but man they are just unbearable. Goff's pseudo GROWN ASS MAN tough guy routine is so weak and he comes off as a tool. Spiegel isn't much better with his annoying laugh and trying to constantly goad Goff.

 

Lets put it this way, I listen to Kap ahead of these bozos.
