I've never understood why people would want to get their favorite sport team logos on things that have noting to do with sports.

Edit: I mean I understand it. I just won't fall for it.

so you can only get cubs logos on like baseballs and bats and gloves?

what about basketballs? do those count since they are related to sports?

You can do whatever you want. Personally, I only have logos on clothing or items you would find at a tailgate (tables, chairs, flags, etc). Slapping a logo on electronics equipment just feels like a money grab to me, I dunno. I might just be weird about it.

rocking a cubs logo on your headphones, key chain, or wallet or something is no different than wearing a coat or a shirt

that is not true.

Here's where I disagree, I guess. I take my keychain and wallet everywhere from games to work to dates and my headphones at the gym, airport or wherever. I typically only go all logo-ed out at a sporting event where that game is being played or if I'm watching it at a bar.

I'm a sports fan but I don't need the world to know it every day I step out of the house.

you only wear cubs gear to games (or to watch them at bars or something)?

I wear my Cubs hat around obviously but I think a wallet is more of a personal style statement that can't be switched out as frequently as, say, a t-shirt I'm wearing around the house or to the gym.

I mean if I have a t shirt or sweatshirt that looks good with jeans or something on a weekend or at the gym, sure, I'll wear it. But I don't have a full wardrobe of Cubs clothing that I wear at work or anything.

well, yeah, i wouldn't rock a cubs wallet, but i don't think it's that weird if people do. mainly because i wouldn't want to be switching wallets around.

headphones aren't generally coming out in situations where i feel like having a cubs logo plastered all over it is too informal, so it's fine to me. they'll only be seen if i'm flying somewhere or on a train or at a poker table or something.

And I wouldn't judge you if I saw you wearing those in an airport. I might even think they're cool and ask about them (but if you then pulled out your Cubs keychain and matching Cubs wallet and beltbuckle, then I will definitely think you're a moran). They just aren't for me. I spent the extra $$ on some Bose headphones that are my world. Edited by JennieGarthAlgar

I would point and laugh and I hope the other people at the poker table would beat him up and take his money.

But not the watch.
