DirecTV remote does. I assume it's not the only one

Dish has a skip forward button that goes 30 seconds also.

Yeah, I use the skip forward button too for commercials.

I mash the 30 second button 6 times. And then reevaluate from there. When not using the 30 second button it's 2X.

There's still a beta vcr in my mom's house in the basement. All our old home movies are on it from when I was a baby (but they've since been transferred to dvd). Think we have all the 85 bears playoff games on beta somewhere too.

I max out the ff on commercials. I'm quick on the play button trigger though, so often the automatic jump back it does goes too far back.

On comcast, the jump back goes farther back the faster you rewind. I wish I could turn off that feature.

this is me. i have trained myself to do the "show's back, wait a beat, now hit play" maneuver with a good degree of accuracy, though.

I'm good with my genie, but I always screw it up with the genie client in the bedroom. I can never get that right.
