I saw that and figured it must be near the end of the game and, of course, it turns out to be 1-1 going in to the [expletive] 5th.

 

I swear these goobers WANT the Cardinals to be good so they can soak in their misery over it.

Yep, that LOB% just continues to climb. And with Goldschmidt at the plate with the bases loaded and 1 out no less.

The Cardinals season LOB% is over 80% this year.

We've discussed it repeatedly before, but they're on pace to blow away the season record in that stat. Something like a 1.5% margin over the current all-time record.

What I would give for the Cardinals to crash and burn Nationals style next year.

I'd love to see that happen in my lifetime but I doubt it ever happens
