a lot will have to happen before I distrust Gus's offensive scheme and play calling ability, but he does need either a qb who can read the defense and throw to a second or third receiver (or throw the ball away). Or, he needs a dual threat qb who can execute the read option at a high level. Jeremy Johnson was supposed to be the former, but his decision making ability was poor in the first game. Auburn didn't look very good against Washington State the first game of 2013 with a new qb, so I will watch another game or two before I jump off a cliff.

Now that my anger has subsided, I just feel bad for Christian Hackenberg. The kid has NFL aspirations, which are absolutely getting torpedoed by the rest of his team

I have an irrational dislike for hackenburg. Maybe it's because I can't stand Penn state, but hackenburg just seems cocky, I think he is overrated, and worse of all he strikes me as a whiner, which I just can't stand in a football player.

Really sucks - hate seeing a potential first rounder get hurt months before his payday. He really stood out in the first half and was probably putting together his best game at UCLA.
