Well, that last replay seemed to give Joe much more of a case. Looked like Suarez may not have touched the bag

Even if they let him challenge this neighborhood play, I'm not sure we will win it

to me, he clearly misses the base

Yeah, I posted that before seeing the 2nd angle. I don't think he touched the base either.

the frustrating thing there is whatshisname the infielder was very clearly able to touch the base and didn't, not because he was afraid of Ross crushing him(Ross did anyway), but because he would have had a less strong throw or a throw that took longer. That's my biggest problem with not making the neighborhood play reviewable, I'm sympathetic to the safety angle but in practice it's justifying illegitimate double plays where the infielders miss the base for speed and not safety. Thankfully Bryant beat this one out.

I originally assumed it was soccer, but the boat angle actually gave me legitimate pause. It....it still is.
