Guy hits a game tying HR , then hits the game winner..If I had a GF right now, I would let him rail her all night and anytime he wants

Of the two I'm more worried about Bryant. Rizzo has been here before and climbed out

He strikes out a lot even when he's going well and is currently in a slump. We don't need to worry. They're fine.

I'm not long term worried about either but it's frustrating watching them be so bad right now. Bryant is too good of a hitter to not be a star, contact issues be dammed

He's on pace for one of the best rookie seasons of all time. A slump has pushed his ops DOWN into the .820s. He's a star.

What happens when Montero is healthy? I guess it's not a concern for awhile but I can't see them leaving Montero on the bench especially when Ross has to start 20% of all games.

I don't even know what to do with this Schwarber thing. He's a monster. Completely unstoppable. Everything he hits is a rocket.

I'm marginally worried about Bryant. He's put together really bad at-bats lately but you have to remember that he's a rookie.

It's all about adjustments for him. I just cannot see a way that Bryant isnt a star. He might not end up being a super duper star like we hope because of his contact issues but he's too good to fail.

I do worry about the number of hitters in extended slumps..almost like our coaches can't figure out any mechanical flaws or adjustments in approach necessary to break out.

You don't agree we should worry about him, or that he's too good of a hitter to not be a star?

If it's the latter, we (NSBB) need to accept that he's really, really good despite the strikeouts, and he's better than Soler. GET WITH THE TIMES, DAVID

i'm not saying he's doomed. i'm just saying he's not an absolute can't miss star which is what he said, i think. i think the possibility exists that he gets figured out and can't adjust and just becomes a strikeout machine.
