Why do publications seem to always have Lockhart in our top 20 or 30? Where did this idea come from?

 

Or am I imagining it? I don't think that I am.

Lockhart has been mentioned by multiple publications at different times. I have zero idea why, I think they all have looked at his upside of being a utility type.

I don't know the exact reason, but I'd guess it's a combo of getting a decent bonus, being a legacy, and maybe some scrappy/grit bias.

As Sickels has said, beyond the top 10-15 in most farm systems, it's such a crapshoot that few analysts lists are going to be the same.

 

You'd think that someone like Dunston, Maples, or Paniagua with something resembling a ceiling would be ahead of him, but I guess not.
