The Cincinnati Reds leader in SLG% is neither Votto,Bruce or Frazier, nor is it Mesoraco or Byrd. Zack Cozart and his .558SLG leads the team and all major league shortstops. His .931OPS is 21st best in all of baseball. He has a career .662OPS through 1774ABs

39 year old Alex Rodriguez's .299ISO is his best since 2007 and 5th best of his career.

Minor League journey man Steven Vogt now has 9HR and 30RBI in only 119PAs. His 2.1fWAR is 2nd in baseball behind only Trout. His 1.098OPS is 5th in baseball.

The Phillies are on pace for 86HRs as a team; the Dodgers are on pace for 258.

Was a little bit surprised that Mark Teixeira has walked the same amount of times that he has struck out: 35. Looking a little bit deeper he has had one full season in which he struck out less than 100 times; 93 in 2008 he walked 97 times. While he's mostly had a decent ratio he's never been all that close to walking more than striking out in any other year.
