Week 4: Packers (1-2) @ Bears (2-1), Noon, FOX/780

While you guys all get to watch this game, I get to watch Tampa Bay at Pittsburgh. JEALOUS????

Do you have to watch the kids or something?

I live in [expletive] Ohio, where it's all AFC North, ALL THE TIME

Go to a sports bar. A fine excuse for beer and wings all day.

At first I meant to clarify to him that you were saying he should go out and watch it at a Sunday Ticket bar

Then I realized that in bufu Ohio there may not be such a thing

Denial? I live in a city of 800,000 people.

And I'm not going to a bar because I'm doing an overnight at work and will be exhausted

Worrisome that Ratliff is missing his second straight game because of a concussion.

Happy to live in mid size America.

800K is plenty big. Hell, 500K is plenty big.

There are only nine cities (proper) in the country with a population of a million or more, and you couldn't pay me enough to live in almost half of them. Some of the most desirable (and happening) cities in America are under a million. Once you get into the mid-six figures, you're going to be able to find just about anything to do that you want to.

Ohio seriously blows, though.

[expletive] small towns (and by small i mean not big) that are closed by 10 o clock on friday nights and [expletive]

boring ass [expletive]

i was right about columbus btw... the area is just pretty large. population density isn't all that crazy.

Yeah, sleepy little hamlets like Portland, Pittsburgh, Washington DC and Las Vegas.

You're drunk on sandwiches.

oh come on, throwing vegas in there is cheap

I don't know know where all you have lived, but most of the time you have go way, way lower than 800K before you get to that point. Like <100K.

All of those cities are awesome, you heartless robot.

in all seriousness, i've been on more than a few baseball road trips on weekends and have been pretty disappointed with the nightlife in most of these cities. Cincinnati being the worst offender.

Try growing up in a town of less than 400 people. The only thing we have there is 2 bars.

Careful with the generalizations, David. According to you, Phoenix is a hopping city and San Francisco and Las Vegas are dead by 10. Heck, according to you, San Jose is the most exciting part of the Bay area.

That said, Columbus sounds cookie cutter and boring.

I think what David is trying to say is that Columbus is just a stupid place and that's ok.

Nobody besides Derwood is really trying to make a case for Columbus...but clearly David's made up criteria is heavily flawed.
