I could see Szczur sticking around as a possible 5th OF/defensive replacement, though he has little value, regardless. It wouldn't hurt my feelings to see him gone; but I think it's more pertinent in getting Jackson and Vitters off of the 40-man.

Charcer Burks with 6 BB in the last two nights. He had 7 in his first 35 games.

 

I kinda like him. Kevonte Mitchell, too -- if he can fill out some and add a little pop.

MiLB's pitching lines down in the AZL are routinely corrected and that might be the case down the road for Jose Paulino but as it stands, he had a great night: 6 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 6 K, 1 HBP, 7-1 GO-FO.

i was gonna bracket Soler's hot stretch with arbitrary endpoints to make them look super video gamey, then i quickly realized that isn't even remotely necessary for a guy with a 1.225 OPS on the season
