Yeah, he's thrown 197 pitches to LHH this season in MLB. This is either a certain pitch or it makes no sense.

Here's a heat map of all the pitches to lefties, not just changeups.

Are we still gonna need BandWGNs when the new TV deal is signed?

BandMLTICST doesn't quite have the same ring to it...

BandPTRshootsthegamesonhisiphoneandwillfacetimethemtoyoutwentydollars

He could make some money doing this for the I-Cubs.

If you aren't on board yet, why the hell not?

In my 10 team full roster Dynasty Keeper League I am going to spin him so hard for something more valuable. 8/10 people are Cub fans in the league and they will drool over his stats.

I honestly think I could probably get Gerrit Cole or Alex Wood straight up for him at this point.

What is the concern level of Bosio getting a head coaching gig/promotion elsewhere? He's been so successful at turning guys around the last few years that I feel teams are going to have their eye on him. Whenever organizations have success, they tend to have their lower level guys get picked over for promotions. We didn't lose Hoyer to the Padres, but Bosio and/or some of our scouting guys are sure to go.

I'm enjoying the ride and hope we can get at least a Randy Wells type 2ish year stretch from him, but I'm in the latter camp of Kyle's "I don't care about Hendricks 89 MPH FB." Also [expletive] pitchers

That camp is abandoned and you should leave it.

Head coaching? You mean manager?

There haven't been that many pitching coaches who have stepped up to be managers. It's not like defensive and offensive coordinators in football, who become really highly regarded and then get ahead coaching gig. The main thing they would have to worry about with Bosio being poached is just money, and I would hope that if they value him highly, that they'd just match any offer from another MLB organization.

anecdotally, pitching coaches tend to stick at that job forever, or at least for really long stretches. rothschild, mazzone, cooper, other names, etc.

Yeah, and I think I remember people being worried that we wouldn't be able to replace Rothschild when he left. But we did.

The absolute worst part of having lots of fun new players is Cubs fans all tripping over their own balls trying to become the first to coin a new nickname.

You know how Maddux has been spending a week with the team in spring training each year? I want him to spend the whole thing with Hendricks next year.
