So apparently the Round Rock guys have an axe to grind with Javy and they are doing nothing but badmouth him any time he is involved in anything.

lol, I'm gonna have to watch the game later. Yesterday and all tonight too huh?

He probably hit too many moon shots against their team to play the game the Right Way.

Guess so.

A couple of the comments from PSD:

Another Javy singles as the Round Rock announcers continue to rip him.

And then laugh when he gets thrown out trying to steal. What a joke.

After he was thrown out, the RR announcer said, "HAHA, that's how you get him off the bases." He literally said HAHA.

In his prior at bat the announcers were making fun of the way that he slid into second (stolen base). Then they started making fun of the tape that he wears on his fingers. They kept calling it tv tape saying that it didn't have a purpose other than making you look good.

In his most recent at bat he had the base stolen but he overslid the bag. Rock ridge didn't do anything to stop him.

(he means round rock)

I can't wait until Javy has MLB opponents resenting him this much

I think Javy has hit 4 or 5 of his homers against round rock.

The RR guys also don't like Bryant and think he's going to end up playing 1B.

Well, I don't like the RR guys and think they are going to end up calling American Legion games.

he's talking about you, vinestal

Sure it's a good thing, let's just hope it's not followed by 4 or 5 hitless days.

Yes, let's hope he doesn't have a streak of consecutive hit-less games that match the four total hit-less games he's had in his 11 games in the Cubs organization.

Javy comes off cocky. I've always assumed he was with the whole, "I do whatever I want" stuff. But there has been no complaints from anyone that matters. None of his teammates have badmouthed him. No coaches. Nobody from the front office.

I think the teammates are the important one. I would never expect the front office to badmouth anyone with even a sliver of trade value. Given that Law made him out to be a monster in his chat on Friday, it's good to know that his teammates appear to enjoy him.

In fairness, he may have thought Whiteside was a ghost trying to haunt the dugout. I can't prove him wrong if that's the case.
