What's that stupid [expletive] saying?

 

(think of it in the overly dramatic Thom voice..)

 

"So for all the talk of the plan that Theo Epstein has had in place since coming over from Boston it all is in the hands of these four very young players..."

 

 

 

Supposedly all our hopes are on these four guys of which one is in A ball and one is in Rookie ball and only two of the four are even having good years in the minors.

I love guessing the score based on the tone of the game thread. I honestly thought the Cubs were losing something like 4-0 or 5-1 instead of 1-0 in the bottom of the 3rd during a rain delay.

billy hamilton hadnt walked in 19 games, jackson walks him on four pitches to start the game. thats as annoying as opener as you'll see
