@rustindodd: Nice timing: The Royals just announced that Kyle Zimmer will miss additional time this year with a lat strain.

 

@McCulloughStar: Kyle Zimmer felt tightness in his first time against hitters on May 19. His velocity dipped to 89 mph, assistant GM JJ Picollo said.

 

@McCulloughStar: Picollo stopped short of saying Zimmer won't pitch for Royals this year. But, he said, "You do the math, and you're running out of time."
