No love for David Patton?

I remember everyone on here started wondering why the hell we wouldn't just give him back around June and maybe even before. And we never did, I don't think.

 

no, we kept him that whole [expletive] year even though he was terrible, in his mid 20s and didn't even have very good stuff. rondon was the same age, but at least he can throw hard and had a good prospect pedigree, plus he missed most of 2011 and 2012 due to injury. keeping patton around for pretty much all of 2009 was just baffling.

These games are much more enjoyable to watch when the other team is terrible.

maybe this is just me, but i like len and jd enough that it is pretty much preferable when they mostly ignore the game and just talk about other things. i wish it happened more.

I liked Len and Bob more in that department (like Len and JD more in the actual baseball-game area), but anytime Len veers from the game tends to be a fun conversation.
