But then the owner would drop a player that someone else might have already wanted, and we have the same issue as the first option.

The problem is we knew those guys were available before the draft. This is someone becoming available in the middle.

 

Tanaka, Abreu & Guerrero are guys who fall into the above ruling.

Prospect draft. Would have been a tougher call had he signed in February or something, but this is a no brainer. We're right in the middle of the MLB draft.

I voted prospect draft because it seems the best option at this time.

 

He probably will start the year in the minors.
