Tennessee played a great game and this is the best Worley's looked at UT. I'm really sick of these close but not quite losses - happened multiple times under Dooley and now again under Butch.

 

I'm more convinced then ever now, though. This is a much more talented Vols team than people give us credit for. If we'd have started Worley vs Florida, I think we win and now we play the best team in the SEC (though hobbled) down to the wire.

Looks like the Pac-12 doesn't have the monopoly on shitty refs.

Two fishy/disputable calls today, both benefited the team the conference who employs the officials had a financial interest in winning the game.

 

I know it's tinfoil-hatty, but as long as conferences employ officials, they invite that talk whenever this kind of stuff happens.
