So Rosario has been really [expletive] bad tonight you guys. Not exactly a "a couple pitches here and there and he'd have had em sort of a situation".

 

He's been brutal all season.

He's not been good but I'd stop short of saying brutal. Either way giving up a bakers dozen was kind of an unexpected outcome

Feet. Vogelbach seemed impressed with himself.

Yeah, I was referencing the horrible BB rate and 5+ ERA while repeating the league.

That was my impression. When I saw him at Boise, he had a decent fastball, but he needed to work on his secondary stuff. I thought he might be useful out of the pen at some future date.

Spokane's announcer had nice things to say about Brant's fielding.

The sample sizes are small at this point, but these 2013 Drafted pitchers in Boise are exciting. It's almost shocking when one of them gives up an earned run. Looks like Wagner had some issues with control, but his ability to strike people out is as advertised.

Hope this isn't similar to the 2008 draft class where a lot of college pitchers had success in Boise but outside of Cashner, didn't amount to much in the big leagues (Shafer, Carpenter, Bristow, Jay Jackson, McDaniel, Coleman).
