Just announced on FOX. They havent announced the NL Reserve position players yet, but I'm assuming he is the Cubs lone all star, unless Bryan LaHair is available to be selected.

Travis Wood: 5-6, 2.69 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, 110.1 IP, 80K, 33 BB, 3.51 FIP, 4.37 xFIP

Back in my day, the cubs were always respectable at the break and consistently filled up an all star roster with sandberg, Dawson, grace, Dunston, Jody Davis, Maddux, sutcliffe, and even Vance law one year.

I liked the 2008 list.

Carlos Zambrano, Carlos Marmol, Ryan Dempster, Kerry Wood, Alfonso Soriano, Aramis Ramirez, Kosuke Fukudome, Geovany Soto

Minor Leagues, Minor Leagues, Decent in Boston, Retired, Barely above replacement level, Still good, Back in Japan, Backup Catcher hitting .182

What a difference 5 years makes

To see how hard Z, Marmol, Demp, Soto and Fuku went down the tubes is indeed amazing.

Remember when Zambrano was the only Cubs All-Star in 2006? And he didn't even pitch that game. (Short rest)

Wood's probably not going to pitch either - he's scheduled to start the Sunday night game before the ASG.

Don't they usually replace the guys that start on Sunday to the active roster? Maybe Shark has a shot of making it.

Yes, they replace anyone who can't play.
