Q on Bollig: "I thought he had a real strong game for us. I liked what he brought to the team."

 

It was a long game, but I don't recall thinking he was out of place or making mistakes. Can't say the same for Rozsival, though the guy showed amazing patience on the winning goal in letting Bolland and Shaw get to the front of the net before taking the shot.

 

He play 14 minutes in a 3 OT game. Imagine how fast Stalberg would have looked if he had only skated 14 minutes by the 3rd OT. More to the point, think of how much Kane and Toews double shifted so they didn't have to send Bollig out there.

 

If the best anyone can say is that he didn't screw up, that's no reason to continue this experiment.

oh my God, i tried listening to mut and merloni for like 3 minutes and they're just the worst. whoever compared them to boers and bernstein must never listen to b and b. b and b are regularly critical and even antagonistic of the hometown team, these two losers comprise a microcosm of boston sports, among big cities, they are the hillbilly cow-towners. it's like listening to green bay radio. must be embarrassing to be a boston fan, or it should be. it's like wisconsin had a baby with philadelphia.

Bollig isn't that bad and for a guy that isn't really there to play hockey he does have some skill- He's not John Scott out there. His size isn't useful against the HuLK line since he wouldn't be out there against them on purpose.

I really don't like Oasis, but they do such an amazing job with those intros.

 

It's true. As much as I enjoy listening to Emrick, I'll take the CBC production and Hughson over NBC every day of the week.

Yes, as is game 3. Part of the contract with NBC sports, as they want NBC sports to get exposure.

 

Games 4-7 would be on NBC.

I will admit I have no idea which hockey trophy is which.

Selke is the trophy for the cutest ankle tattoo acquired that season.

 

Datsyuk has a dolphin, one of those yin-yang symbols, a Chinese character and a butterfly.
