Blackhawks: Patrick Kane has been on fire lately, which is pretty much what you'd expect from something greasy that's frequently soaked in alcohol.

Bruins: Opponents are often intimidated by constant barrage of screaming and cheering from the most diehard fan-base in the entire league, although occasionally Jack Edwards quiets down enough that you can hear the spectators as well.

It's probably hard to see on TV all that Stalberg isn't doing at this point. He doesn't seem to be making glaring mistakes. He's just not making anything happen. And that's what he's there for.

Which is why putting Bollig in is curious. He's much more likely to make mistakes and he brings some physical presence but not as much as he should given his size and willingness to use it. I haven't found him to be a very effective hitter. He's usually the one that falls down.

Stalberg has been invisible for most of the playoffs but at least there's a chance he could contribute. This move smacks of John Scott on the PP. Maybe Q rented Goon last night and it gave him an idea.

I'd rather they play Morin over Bollig. He's not afraid to hit people and is actually a threat to score- something that line could really use.

I'm getting really excited for tonight....still a little under 9 hours away. I wish I could really fully appreciate how awesome it is to have my team playing in the championship series. When I'm sitting there watching a gutted apart Cubs team playing for a high draft pick in August with nothing else to follow except Bears training camp, I will really miss the excitement of game day.

The severe weather needs to pass before the game though. I don't want want the directv to go out tonight.

Gone were any conspicuous white jerseys, but nothing changed about how the Chicago Blackhawks will approach Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final.

The lineup and line combinations remained the same at the team's morning skate at the United Center on Wednesday, and bruiser Brandon Bollig will enter the lineup while the top two lines spreading out the scoring ability to create matchup issues for the Bruins.

Bollig remained on a fourth line with Marcus Kruger and Michael Frolik, with Viktor Stalberg the imminent scratch for Game 1.

My directv just came back on. If it goes out during the game is there a website anyone can recommend to catch the game on until the satellite comes back?

Tornado touches down 30 miles outside of Chicago. Bettman says United Center officials are in constant contact with city monitoring storm.

NBC Sports is having a pregame segment where they show the montage of highlights from the postseason. Before the Bruins montage they talked about how Boston romped through the playoffs. Before Chicago's they talked about how the Hawks didn't take the easiest path to the Final.

So yeah the Bruins were 12-4 and the Hawks 12-5

who would you rather have, assuming perfect health and comparable career length, Toews or Crosby?

I've never seen the question asked before.

Considering how much Toews sucks and needs to be benched, Crosby.

Like 1992 all over again, except with the games all being close.
