yeah, let's have everyone with legal rosters by the end of the weekend.

what day should we have waivers run? i think sunday night works best since that will allow you to set your lineup for the week.

waivers set up to run monday at 2 am starting 3/25.

rosters must be legal by 3/25.

if you have a guy on your DL on 3/25 and he doesn't start the season on the DL, you lose him.

if you took a minor leaguer in the major league draft and he starts the season in the minors, you lose him.

Did you change it so that it runs at 2am on Sunday? Won't that mess with people fielding a lineup to compete on Sunday vs the team they want to have in place for the following week?

MiLB draftees should be added to teams before waivers open. There's no reason for someone to lose their waiver position based on picking up draft picks.

I'd either open it up temporarily so everyone can pick their guys up, or the commish should manually add draftees.

Edit: If we open it up in order to add draftees, the waiver order can be restored afterwards.

Just wait until after the waiver process starts. Then your minor leaguer will be a free agent and you can pick them up without losing your waiver position.

I suppose that would work too.

What's the over/under on prospects that were drafted in the MiLB draft being picked up by a team that didn't draft them?

it shouldn't be that tough. if you want to add a minor leaguer, just search the draft list for his name. anybody who knows how to use a computer and the internet should be able to do that.

Has everyone picked up their minor league draft picks already?

There should be a time limit to how long it takes a team to pick up its selections from the minor league draft. A team should not be able to use the draft to provide itself with more roster space, i.e. like 12 minor league slots.

I am thinking the start of the season. After that they are fair game for anyone to pick up.

Good rule?

yes, if this is happening, it should not be.

pick up your drafted minor leaguers by the first day of the season.

I should state here that I do not know if this is occurring.
