Play-offs week 3

2 weeks and 7 starts per week?

 

Chapman is day-to-day. So I benched him and picked up League.

i think we do 14 starts total for the 2 week period...doesn't matter how many per week.

oh, and the first time don proclaims it is hopeless and he has lost, it will actually be binding and he loses.

looks like davey johnson stupidly sending gio gonzalez out for the 6th inning already at 100+ pitches in a downpour ended up being the difference for don.

 

oddly enough, that decision put me in the championship game in another league.

I've never said I have been victimized, screwed over, cheated or unlucky. I just like saying I'm going to lose because it evidentally bothers you so much, and I enjoy being surprised when I don't end up losing.

 

I don't think a team that sits #3 in the all time league standings and has been to now 4 championship games (granted I've never one one) is in any way unlucky, victimized, or has been screwed over.

 

 

How could I ever complain about this?

I am glad you take this league seriously enough to get excited about it.

 

It also points out how as a manager you can put together a good team, but it really boils down to blind luck at crucial moments in crucial games.
