49er fan on footballsfuture.com back in April when Rachal was signed:

Wow you guys are severely overrating Chilo in here. The dude is a decent/ maybe slightly above average run blocker. The problem is, he may be the worst passblocking G in the NFL. Dude is terrible. Niner fans are relieved to see him go. I really hope he doesn't see the field much this year, otherwise, I feel bad for Jay Cutler.

Asked if someone needed to talk to him about it or is quarterback one untouchable, Moore said, “The quarterback? Quarterback and he makes a lot of money, and he can throw the ball? He’ll be alright. He’s throw a couple passes and they’ll forget about it next week.’

Moore likened what Cutler did to badmouthing a teammate in the media, in the media.

Exactly. Somehow the media missed the irony.

One of the better players on our offensive line last year, was Chris Williams, at left guard, so wouldn't it make sense to put him back there?

Spencer has been bad but Rachal isn't much if any improvement.

Webb and Garza have been horrible too.

Hey guys, I have this house and it keeps falling down. It seams that the foundation that is made with paper dissolves in heavy water. Last year, I had a concrete block on a big part of it and that worked well. However, this year I went back to the trusty old paper and it appears to be dissolving again! WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT!!???

So, my question is, should i use brown or magenta paper to fill the hole? Oh, and what do I do with this dumb concrete block I have lying around? Its so damn heavy, I just hate moving it around........

What I'm hoping at least, is that if/when Rachal also proves to be a disaster, they will have Jonathan Scott up to speed enough to be the swing tackle, and then they will put CW at LG. I think the Bears want to avoid the situation where 1 injury forces two changes. (say Carimi or Webb got hurt, Williams would have to move again, and then they would have to move someone else back to left guard)

Lovie said this morning it's not a high ankle sprain for Forte.

Well I guess that could mean it's better or worse. Did he say which?

Better

DJ Moore needs to shut the [expletive] up. He's a nobody on this team.

a) he's right

b) i doubt he's the only one that feels that way

c) you're right he should shut up and not talk to the media about it

The best 2 players on the Bears OL last year (that played more than 1 full game) were Chris Williams and Edwin Williams. Both at LG. The Bears are on their 2nd LG, but neither of them has been named Williams. I feel like I am blind or stupid or something for somehow seeing this while the coaching staff hasn't. Maybe they see something in practice everyday, but I don't see how minimal contact practices are more proof that someone can/can't play than actual games against real opponents.

I feel like every time the Bears do something OLine-related, the Twilight Zone theme is playing in the background.

Just bizarre and ridiculous, all the way around.

I don't think you're missing anything. They've gone bananas, period.

OH but that Jay Cutler, man he needs to grow up.

Forte was jogging around at practice today, BTW.

Last October, Moore told the Tribune this about Cutler: "The first year, to me personally, he was an (expletive). There's no way to sugarcoat it. Some days, he was good. But some days, he was in his own world.''

So yeah, I guess Moore and Cutler aren't exactly chums. Despite both being Vandy guys.

I think this has gone far enough, and Moore should put down the keyboard, or otherwise shut up. I think everyone now understands: he doesn't like Jay Cutler.
