I was at the Wisc/Utah State game this evening. LOL.

 

Suffice it to say it wasn't a happy crowd walking out of the building, in spite of the "win."

Oddly enough, the last ND team to not give up a TD to a BCS-AQ school in a game was the train-wreck 2007 team.

I think Kelly is going to get them back to their glory days. If he can build the offense that he had at Cincinnati than look out. I kind of think that will happen too, Goulson doesn't look bad and he's young too.

Haha, I'm happy as all hell. I was just curious when the last time the Irish held a BCS-AQ school out of the end zone and found it ironic that that team was the last to do it.

 

If this team beats up Michigan the way they did MSU, the sky's the limit.

Someone tell me they saw the end of the Utah-BYU game yesterday. Utah's fans ended up storming the field 3 different times because they thought the game was over; the second of which ended up resulting in a 15-yard penalty that gave BYU a second chance to try a game-tying FG.

The playcalling is questionable at times, but the one thing he's done differently from previous ND coaches is really focus on having high-end talent on both sides of the line. That was the difference last night (especially considering the secondary continues to get weaker).
