@sahadevsharma: Don't look now, but Castro's walk rate on the season is up to 5.0%, higher than last season.

Fangraphs has his walk rate at 4.7% this season and 4.9% last season. So not quite.

Fangraphs doesn't update during games, right? He's got 25 walks, so that could be the difference

Not sure if it's new but they have live updates on the player page. The 4.7% walk rate is including the 25th walk.

Rizzo, Castro, and Jackson all had positive days batting and in the field and Volstad gave up no runs? That's a 2012 success.

Rizzo 2-2 with 2 BBs, Castro 2-3 with 1 BB, Jackson 1-2 with 2 BBs. Love it.

Last time the CUBS drew 6 BBs in one game.............

I do not like Clevenger

He's on my shot list too

I'm pretty indifferent to the guy, but I'm surprised at the number of people here who talk about him like he's likely to be anything more than a backup. I've seen posts where people think he could be a starter or even could be a valuable trading chip.

He's a backup catcher though. He's fine. A .600 OPS out of a backup C is probably pretty decent. I think he can do that at least some years.
